Klamath Basin
The Klamath Basin boasts some of Southern Oregon's best Fly Fishing. The Trout that call this place their home are World Class! That being said, they don't come easy, though they are attainable. Fly Fishers who want to target these fish must have knowledge of Fly Fishing and a Fly Cast that can reach at least 40 feet. The Klamath Basin hosts numerous Spring fed rivers and creeks that these huge rainbow trout love in the summer. Brown Trout also inhabit these waters and are always a welcome surprise on any given day. These Trout are a challenge but offer huge rewards on the Fly Rod. I will share my knowledge of these waters and work hard to get you the trout of your life!!
Rogue River
The Wonderful Rogue River offers Fly Fishers year-long opportunities to catch the Steelhead of their dreams! Late May to early June offers an amazing hatch of Salmon flies. These flies bring up the biggest Rainbow, Steelhead, and Cutthroat Trout. The Rogue is easily fished from a boat and is a great river to learn to fly fish. I love this river and would love to show you how special it is to fish!
Local Bass Fishing
The Rogue and Applegate Valleys are host to prime bodies of water filled with Largemouth and Small Mouth Bass. It's a great opportunity for the Fly Fisher in all of us! Spring through Fall is prime time for Bass fishing and I have access to some private ponds in the area, as well as numerous public ponds and small impoundments that hold good numbers of Bass. Bass Fly Fishing has become one of my favorite ways to fish! Come with me on an Action-Packed Bass Fly Fishing adventure!!!
